FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there reserved/assigned seating?

All seating is reserved and assigned based on date of ticket purchase! So, the earlier tickets are purchased, the closer to the stage you will sit. Tickets MUST BE purchased online and in advance. Ticket sales will end 24 hours prior to the performance in order to allow adjustments to our seating plan for each date. Due to limited space and table size, parties over six (6) may be seated at an adjoining table.

Can we bring our own food & drink into the theater?

Yes! We present our shows in cabaret-style with table seating so, we encourage our patrons to bring whatever food and drink items they would like to enjoy before and during our productions. Doors open one (1) hour before show time to allow our patrons time to gather and enjoy their food and drink.

Does the Castle Craig Players (CCP) sell any concessions before or during their shows?

We sell chilled bottled water for $1 each. We also sell CCP branded t-shirts, wine glasses and car magnets. Please see the front door manager for pricing and availability.

How long before showtime do your doors open?

Our doors open one (1) hour prior to the published show time.

Do I need to print my ticket email confirmation to enter the theater?

No. We create a master list of patrons for each show which also indicates seating/table assignments. Our front door managers and/or Board member will ask for the last name of the person who purchased the tickets online and will check the name off the list and advise you which table you are assigned to.

I sent an email to the Castle Craig Players email address and haven’t seen a response. What should we do?

We strive to be very prompt in our email responses. Please check your Junk and/or Spam folders for our response. Also, please add our email address, info@castlecraigplayers.org, to your contacts. This should eliminate our responses going into Spam or Junk folders.

What is Castle Craig Players refund and/or exchange policy?

All sales are FINAL, and we do not offer refunds, unless the performance is cancelled. We will make every opportunity to contact all ticket purchasers by email within 3 hours of show time if this were to occur. If circumstances allow, we may be able to exchange your tickets for another performance – please contact us to check availability.

Where do we park?

There is on-street parking on both sides of West Main Street, available on a first come, first serve basis. There are two (2) handicap accessible parking spots directly across the street in front of the Superior Courthouse & Police Station. There are two (2) municipal parking areas within a 2 minute walk from our front door; one is a two (2) level parking garage directly behind our theater and a parking lot diagonally across the street. Both parking areas are free after 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and free all day Saturday and Sunday.

Is the Castle Craig Players theater handicap accessible?

We are currently working on enhancing our ability to provide a space that is welcoming to all persons with disabilities. Our front door is wheelchair accessible. We are developing plans to make our bathrooms ADA Compliant. If wheelchair accessibility is a need, please inform us when purchasing tickets and we will do all we can to accommodate your request.

What is your current COVID-19 policy?

As of April 1, 2023:

The wearing of a mask while in our venue is encouraged, but not required. Please do whatever makes you the most comfortable in our space.

We have decreased our seating capacity from 60 patrons to 50 patrons to allow for proper social distancing protocols. We will follow CDC Cleaning and Disinfecting guidelines both before and after the performance. Hand sanitizers and wipes will be available for patrons and staff throughout the theater and in restrooms. Multiple antibacterial, germicidal, virus reduction HEPA air purifiers will be used throughout the building. We have also installed anti-bacterial and anti-virus filters in our HVAC system, per CDC and EPA guidelines.

If you have any questions regarding our COVID protocols and policies, please contact us at info@castlecraigplayers.org.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation with these policies and we look forward to safely welcoming you back into our theater!
